Sandakan folks urge action on malfunctioning streetlights
Streetlights not functioning at the Sandakan Highway.
SANDAKAN: Its darkness all the way from the traffic light junction at Bomba/Sedco at Mile 3, Jalan Utara, along the route to the new bus terminal, Taman Grand View and the Sim-Sim seafood restaurants, then down to the Sandakan District Mosque.

“Almost the whole stretch of this bypass highway built for the convenience of the people of Sandakan is in total darkness after dusk. It is really distressing, not to mention the danger posed to motorists and pedestrians,” said Taren Sunil Manoharan, the caretaker President of Sandakan Indian Association.
