Fallen tree damages two cars

Kota Kinabalu: A three-tonne lorry and a Proton Saga were damaged by a fallen tree as they were moving along Tuaran Bypass, near KFC, Monday.

The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) Operations Centre said the drivers and passengers of both vehicles were unhurt in the 5.30pm incident.

It said 10 Lintas Fire Station personnel worked quickly to cut the tree into sections and removed them. 

The incident caused a massive traffic jam during the peak hours.
