Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Public Works via the Sabah Logistics Council (SLC) has recently held a productive meeting with Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd and key industry players, including shipping liners, to discuss and find solutions to the ongoing congestion at Sapangar Bay Container Port.

Minister of Public Works Datuk Shahelmey Yahya said they were pleased to receive positive news and constructive feedback from Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd and the shipping liners.

"The discussions highlighted a shared commitment to collaboratively address the congestion issues and improve the efficiency of port operations for the benefit of all stakeholders," he said in a statement.
