Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah and Labuan Prisons Department has taken steps in promoting cultural awareness and rehabilitation among "prospects" (prisoners) through arts and culture.

This is made possible through its collaboration with the Department of National Culture and Arts, Sabah.

In a certificate presentation ceremony for the Cultural Arts Guidance Centre Programme at the Kota Kinabalu Women's Prisons, here, Thursday, Sabah and Labuan Prisons Director Nora Musa expressed gratitude towards the organisers for their efforts in implementing this initiative.
