TAWAU: A 10-tonne lorry carrying ammonium nitrate chemicals overturned on the Nabawan-Kalabakan Road at 3pm on Sunday.

Tawau Fire and Rescue Station Chief Jemishin Ujin said the incident resulted in a spill in the area.

He said that two victims were involved in the incident, but further details were unavailable as the public had already taken them to the hospital before his team arrived.

Jemishin said his team cleaned up the spill upon arriving at the location at 5.35 pm.

The operation ended at 7.10 pm.
