PENAMPANG: Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang officiated the closing of the second community sewing machine programme in Buhavan Square, Donggongon, here.
The centre aimed to at empowering locals with valuable skills and generating income opportunities.
The centre which opened its doors six months ago, provides access to sewing machines and facilities for those interested in learning or honing their sewing skills.
The initiative was sparked by the success of a series of sewing workshops organised by the Jannie’s office in collaboration with Epal Sewing Centre.
