50 attend Sandakan TB, dengue talk

SANDAKAN: Some 50 participants comprising Mahkamah Anak Negeri staff, village head and Chinese community leaders attended the Panel Penasihat Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan (PPKKS) health awareness talk on TB and dengue.

Chairman of PPKKS, Robert Chong said it aimed to bring awareness as well as the message to bring back to their respective villages and constituencies about Tuberculosis (TB) disease and dengue in Sandakan.

The talk was given by two respective doctors from Klinik Kesihatan Sandakan (KKS).

“We will continue to give talks in schools because they are high risk as they move around from home to school to town or other places,” he added.
