Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Forestry Department will investigate claims by Rimba Watch that two forest reserves are up for sale in Sabah.
Chief Conservator of Forests Datuk Frederick Kugan advised the public to contact the Department on anything relating to Forest Reserves.
He said it is sad when users of online platforms advertise the sale of lands within Forest Reserves that are not valid, with intent to potentially scam would-be investors.
“The 300 acres within the Sg Pinangah Forest Reserve is under a long-term sustainable licence agreement with approved management plans and is not for sale.
