Kota Kinabalu: Hosts Kinabalu Golf Club (KGC) emerged champions in the Triangular Meet (Datuk G. S. Sundang Challenge Trophy) held here recently.
The two-day friendly competition featured Labuan Golf Club (LGC), Keningau Golf and Country Club (KUGCC) and KGC with each team represented by 40 players.
KGC started their campaign with a win over KUGCC (3279-3491) followed by the second victory against LGC (3279-3585).
Meanwhile, KUGCC won the other tie by edging LGC (3491-3585).
