Sabah’s agencies, GLCs told to develop digital econ
Kota Kinabalu: Government agencies and government-linked companies (GLCs) in Sabah are urged to collaborate to support the State Government’s efforts to develop the digital economy and telecommunications technology sectors, which are now focused on bringing in innovations and investments.

State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif said this strategic partnership is essential to transforming Sabah and Malaysia into a high-income state and country by 2030 through the digital economy, in line with the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Roadmap.

Mohd Arifin said in empowering education with digital technology, the state government has also launched the Sabah Education Sponsorship Portal (https://ptps.sabah.gov.my) which gathers all the main sponsors of education in the state under one portal.
