Lack of road markings, streetlights poses threat to motorists in Beaufort
No road markings for schoolchildren or motorists.
BEAUFORT: Concessionaires need to immediately draw white lines as road dividers along the Limbawang Bypass for the convenience of users, especially at night.

A road user, Mohd Johawalia Kimsin, said this when contacting the Daily Express here on Sunday, saying that the absence of the markings since more than a month ago has made it difficult for road users.

He said road users exercise extra caution when using the road at night, especially when it rains, where many tend to stray from their lane, resulting in accidents.

Similarly, the road in front of SK Mempagar is paved but has not yet been marked with yellow or white markings, which poses a danger to schoolchildren crossing the road.
