SIPITANG: Residents of Kg Samin and nearby areas expressed their disappointment with the state of the polluted river due to logging activities.
A resident, Noriati Baru, told the Daily Express that the river water has become murky due to soil erosion from logging activities.
Yet residents still use it to clean, in addition for drinking.
“In these two weeks, the residents of Kampung Samin and Kampung Ulau and the surrounding areas had to drink, bathe and wash cloth as if it were Milo water flowing from the catchment area,” she said.
