Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Wanita urges members to defend Chief Minister’s leadership
Redonah, who also serves as Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, praised the current administration’s performance, citing last year’s revenue collection of over RM6 billion, which surpassed the RM5.268 billion target.
KOTA MARUDU: Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Wanita Chief Datuk Redonah Bahanda urged party members to actively defend the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, emphasising the importance of continuity for Sabah’s development. 

Speaking at the Bandau Division Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Wanita, Youth and Beliawanis Annual Meeting held at the community hall, here, on Saturday, she highlighted the important role of social media in modern political engagement.

“We must become a fortress of support for our leadership on social media,” she said, cautioning against silence in the face of opposition criticism. 

She stressed that defending the party is a shared responsibility among all members.

She emphasised the need to strengthen the party at the grassroots level, particularly in the Bandau Division, with an eye on securing a seat in the upcoming election.

She also noted the significance of voters aged 18 to 40, who comprise the largest group of social media users.

Encouraging party members to actively engage with the Chief Minister’s social media accounts, she said:  “Shows support by leaving likes, comments, and shares on platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.”

She was confident of the readiness of the party’s women’s machinery at all levels to face elections at any time. 

She reminded the attendees that the party’s success is a collective responsibility, particularly for the women’s wing.
