STPM top scorers want to give back to Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: With strong reliance towards the current technological development, 20-year-old Sofea Allyza Hazizan @ Izan debunked her “self-doubts” after achieving a perfect score in the 2023 Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM).

The eldest of five siblings from Kampung Tebobon shared that she never had imagined to be one of the best students of SM All Saints in last year’s STPM examination.

With continuous support from her study group, she said they have always been able to maintain constant communication and engage in discussions while carrying out their revision which was mostly done via video conference.

“My friends and I have always carried out study group together even through video conference. After school we will get together to have a group study for discussions while at the same time do some exercises as well.
