The former prime minister said the documents were handed over when the police came to take his statement at his office at the Malaysian Investment Development Authority building at 11am today.

In his speech, Muhyiddin questioned why he was not invited by the former king, Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, to become the prime minister after GE15 in November 2022 resulted in a hung Parliament.

The speech led to numerous police reports and drew the wrath of the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, who wanted the police to take decisive action against the Pagoh MP.
