LAHAD DATU: The togetherness and cooperation of male and female leaders is necessary in the effort to advance the success of Sabah.

Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Wanita Chief Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun said the presence of women leaders is not to compete with male leaders but to fight together for the sake of Sabah and the people.

She said if all parties work together then the coalition would be stronger because its struggle requires everyone to be together.

“Of course we want more female leaders who have potential, calibre and friendly to the people to be highlighted and given the opportunity to be leaders, people’s representatives or candidates in the general elections.

Cosmobeauté Malaysia and beautyexpo will expand into East Malaysia with the launch of the Cosmobeauté Malaysia Borneo Festival 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from May 25 to 26.
“Why aren’t they given the opportunity? They have shown their devotion, service, abilities and highlighted their potential as ‘people’s friendly leaders’,” she said after officiating a Ziarah Kasih Programme at Rumah Sinar Pelangi where she also presented donations to the residents.

Also present were GRS Zone 6B Chief Datuk Mizma Appehdullah, Sabah Welfare Services Director Jais Asri and GRS Wanita Supreme Committee members.
