Kota Kinabalu: A Merdeka-themed cake made by a content creator trio has won many hearts.
A recent TikTok video shows the creative efforts of a local content creator duo and a famous food content creator, Abdul Qayyum Halid, to celebrate the upcoming National Day with a unique and patriotism-themed cake.
The video, which was uploaded with the caption "two days of shooting for a one-minute video", has garnered attention online.
The video details the different steps of making and decorating the cake.
It highlights the intricate design, including a Malaysian flag, delicately crafted out of icing, and the number 67 prominently displayed, symbolising Malaysia’s 67th year of independence.
The final scenes reveal the finished product—a beautifully decorated cake adorned with the Jalur Gemilang, a hand-sculpted miniature of Tunku Abdul Rahman which can rotate on the cake and important elements that symbolise the nation.
Netizens were amazed by the collaboration and praised the content creators for consistently showing quality content.
