Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industries backs the organisation of the first Tawau Agriculture & Aquaculture Exhibition to be held at the Tawau Community Centre in Sabah’s most fertile volcanic district from Nov 8 to 10, 2024.
It is expected to attract industry experts and stakeholders collaboration.
Deputy Chief Minister Cum Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industries Sabah Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Jeffery Kitingan emphasised to the organisers the significance of the event as a pivotal platform for showcasing local innovations to the public, sharing knowledge, and fostering partnerships within the agriculture and aquaculture sectors.
“My Ministry is committed to enhancing the sustainability and growth of Sabah’s agricultural and aquaculture sectors.
Through this exhibition, we aim to facilitate meaningful interactions and encourage the knowledge exchange of best practices, ultimately contributing to the development and resilience of our local industries,” he said.
