Kota Kinabalu: Usno President Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia believes Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) should go for all 73 seats in the next election, saying a coalition of Sabah-based parties could potentially form the State Government.
“There is nothing definite in politics, as the result of an election depends entirely on the sentiments of the rakyat,” the former Parliament Speaker said.
He believes the election would be a crucial test of public sentiment, potentially marking a turning point for Sabah’s political landscape.
“We have seven components in GRS and so far three parties – Usno, SAPP and Sabah Star – have openly said we want GRS to contest in all 73 seats. We don’t want West Malaysian parties to contest.”
