Suicide bid of young Lahad Datu girl foiled
The Fire and Rescue team getting ready to rescue the girl.
LAHAD DATU: The Fire and Rescue Department rescued a 14-year-old girl who attempted to jump from the first floor of a building in town on Tuesday night.

Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue Station Chief Sumsoa Rashid said his department received a distress call on the incident at 8.11pm.

He said seven Fire and Rescue personnel rushed to the scene in a fire tender and an EMRS vehicle.

“Upon arrival, the team saw a girl standing on the edge of the first floor building.
