Sabah DAP commends Hajiji’s firm decision
Wong said Sabah DAP has been closely monitoring developments related to the alleged corruption scandal involving several assemblymen, and the party views the recent release of recordings with utmost seriousness.
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Democratic Action Party (DAP) commended Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor for his firm decision to halt the issuance of mining licences, describing the move as crucial in safeguarding the State’s natural resources for future generations.

DAP Sabah Secretary Vivian Wong highlighted the importance of protecting Sabah’s resources, praising Hajiji’s leadership in ensuring the State’s wealth remains secure.

“We acknowledge and appreciate the decisive actions taken by Hajiji in ensuring that no mining licences are issued. It is a relief that extraordinarily amount of natural resources has been secured for Sabah’s benefit,” she said.

“DAP, being part of the Government, opposes corruption in any form and believes in justice fair investigation,” she said.
