SOOK: The upgrade of 22.85km road project of Tiulon Youth Scheme (RBT) to Kampung Simbuan since the end of September is to meet the needs of rural communities, especially in Sook.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup said this project is one of the developments in the district that has been realised despite facing several obstacles.

He said the success of this project is due to close cooperation between the Sook Sub-District Office, Keningau Public Works Department and the Ministry of Rural Development.

It was also due to the concern of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi that the project received approval.
