KOTA KINABALU: A Proton Saga FLX plunged into a 20-metre ravine in Kampung Kopungit on Saturday evening, with both occupants escaping unscathed.
The Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station (BBP Kota Kinabalu) received an emergency call at 8.19pm and dispatched a team that arrived at the scene within two minutes.
The location of the incident was approximately two kilometres from the station.
The accident involved a self-skidded vehicle, and its two occupants, a 27-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, managed to exit the car unaided.
Both were found unharmed and declined hospitalisations.
The operation concluded at 8.55pm following a thorough inspection to ensure the area was free from further hazards.
