LAHAD DATU: A man in his 50s was injured after the car he was driving crashed into a tree at Jalan Kastam Baru, here, on Friday.

The State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the department received a distress call at 4.34pm.

A team of Fire and Rescue personnel rushed to the scene and upon arrival, the team found the man injured and was treated by KKM Medical Officer before the Fire and Rescue team arrived.

The victim was sent to the hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

The team carried out inspection and ensure there was no other danger at the scene before calling off the operation at 4.49pm.
