Anil also called on the authorities, especially police to assess all risks that may arise and do everything possible to prevent gatherings like this.
KUNAK: The culture of demonstrating to show dissatisfaction is not part of the social norm in this country because it will invite unwanted events said Malaysian Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth Exco, Dato’ Seri Anil Sandhu.

He said it would be worse if the so-called “peaceful assembly” turns into a riot when participants cannot control their emotions.

“As Malaysians, we should not follow or imitate the culture of other countries that like to take to the streets. et us not imitate the practices of other countries as happened in Bangladesh, which ultimately harms all quarters. If there is any dissatisfaction, there is a more appropriate and prudent channel to express views without having to hold a rally,” he said in a statement.

He said even if the assembly is done peacefully, it would not solve the problem, but only harm all parties involved.

Now is the time to gain knowledge, instead of getting involved in state administration affairs or the political world. The time will come for students to contribute in the political arena after graduation, having a strong career will allow you to contribute in the political arena more meaningfully,” he said.

Anil also called on the authorities, especially police to assess all risks that may arise and do everything possible to prevent gatherings like this.
