KOTA KINABALU: The exemplary leadership of Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman during his tenure as Chief Minister serves as a valuable guide in governing and developing the State, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

He noted that Musa's contributions, dedication, and legacy as the longest-serving Chief Minister in Sabah's history, with numerous advancements and developments achieved under his leadership, undoubtedly laid the foundation for further progress in the State.

“Indeed, the appointment of Tun Musa as the new Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah is timely and fitting, given his extensive experience and past service to the State.

“I firmly believe and am confident that this appointment will elevate Sabah to greater heights of excellence, befitting the extensive experience of His Excellency Tun during his 15 years of leadership under the previous State Government,” he said.

He made these remarks during the state banquet in honour of Musa and Toh Puan Faridah Tussin at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here tonight.

With this remarkable track record, Hajiji is confident that Sabah will continue to progress while maintaining unity and harmony among its people, which has long been established.
