'Homewrecker' row leads to five arrests in Tawau assault case
TAWAU: Five women, including a mother-daughter duo, were arrested for allegedly assaulting and beating a single mother believed to be having an affair with one of the suspects' husband in a hotel car park on Monday.

The arrests followed a police report lodged by the 36-year-old victim at 4.41pm on Wednesday.

District police chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the attack occurred around 11am when the victim found all four tyres of her Proton X50 punctured before being ambushed and assaulted by the suspects.

The victim suffered facial injuries and head wounds, claimed RM4,000 worth of jewellery was stolen, and alleged the fight stemmed from accusations of being a homewrecker.
