SANDAKAN: The installation of water tanks will be considered as a temporary solution to address the water supply issue faced by residents of Sim-Sim flats.
Tanjung Papat Assemblyman Datuk Frankie Poon told the residents this after a meeting with them to find a resolution to the problem which affects their daily lives.
During the discussion, Frankie stated his commitment to addressing this issue comprehensively.
He listened to the complaints and suggestions from the residents while presenting several practical proposals, including the installation of water tanks as an interim measure.
“Each proposal will be carefully examined for its feasibility and effectiveness,” he said.
He also assured that immediate action would be taken through close collaboration with the local water authorities and relevant departments.
He hoped that strong cooperation between the Government, local authorities and residents would yield satisfactory results, ensuring sufficient and quality water supply for all.
“I will continue to monitor the progress of this issue and plan follow-up sessions to discuss further steps with the residents and authorities,” he said.
