Kota Kinabalu: Some 60 bikers from across Sabah, including Miri and Lawas, took part in the inaugural get-together hosted by Scooter House Borneo here on Saturday.

The event was officiated by its president,
Ferdinand Arthur, at Tanjung Aru Beach Two.
“This programme is our first official meeting for the registration of our society with the Registrar of Societies (ROS). The formality includes selecting committee members, planning for the year and discussing the budget and annual fees,” said Ferdinand.
While the event predominantly attracted scooter enthusiasts, Ferdinand said that Scooter House Borneo is open to all bikers.
“Currently, we are all about scooters, but we have no limits and welcome all types of bikers,” he added.

Looking ahead, Ferdinand outlined the club’s future plans, which include securing official registration, issuing membership numbers and launching club apparel.
He also pointed out their commitment to hosting an annual dinner and participating in the Merdeka Parade.
In terms of charity, the club plans to support orphanages and underprivileged homes.
