Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan’s intention of working solely with PBS and Star is seen as a divide and conquer strategy.

PBS Acting President Datuk Seri Dr. Joachim Gunsalam urged the opposition party to work with the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition as a whole, if they are sincere.

“They only picked two parties to work with as if trying to break apart GRS.

“PBS has been in GRS since day one and will continue to be with GRS,” he said, after a Chinese New Year walkabout at Gaya Street on Sunday.

On the question of integrity, which Warisan President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal previously said was a flaw in Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, Joachim explained the meaning of donations.

“This is political talk only because politics depends on donations, which is acceptable. The whole country depends on donations and how it comes about is different.

“So you cannot say integrity is compromised simply because you accept political donations from conglomerates, individuals or companies,” he said.

Also present were the Chief Minister’s Special Officer Yee Tsai Yew among other party leaders.
