Kota Kinabalu: The State Prisons Department (in blue) defeated Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JHEAINS) 3-2 in a friendly football match held at the Kepayan Prison Headquarters on Friday (Jan 10).

Prison Superintendent Jomision Gondikit said the main aim of the match was to strengthen ties between the two departments as well as promote a healthy lifestyle among the staff.

He hoped more activities will be held in the future and he also thanked JHEAINS for the visit.

He also represented the department in exchange of souvenirs with JHEAINS representative Ustaz Zaki Laumin before the start of the match.
