“Our beloved RGCC club needs to be ‘well looked after’ and it is our shared responsibility to look after this club so that it becomes the best 9-hole golf club in the state of Sabah,” he said.

According to Juis, in RGCC, golfers can enjoy a 9-hole golf course with a stunning panoramic view of Mount Kinabalu.

“It will test a strategy game with a state of the rolling fairways and lush green which is quite challenging, where some would claim that it is the best 9-hole golf course in the State.

“The club is located 1km from Ranau town on the Ranau Tambunan road. It’s a 9-hole golf course with scenic views of the nearby Mount Kinabalu, which provides the backdrop to rolling fairways and greens that are difficult to read.

“It provides a decent challenge to golfers, many of whom say that the RGCC’s course is the best 9-hole course in Sabah. The 9 holes together provide 5,737m of yardage for men and 5,053 for women,” he said.

For the future, Juis said that the new Exco will be introducing a ‘buggy’ service to members, improving the course and Club House facilities, a more attractive landscape and aspired to become the best 9-hole golf course in Sabah.
