KOTA KINABALU: Sabah DAP Chairman Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe reiterated that his party remains part of the Sabah Government while the party evaluate their position.

The State Industrial and Entrepreneurship Minister said this when asked about Sabah DAP's stand on corruption and working with those whose reputation has been linked to alleged graft.

He said that while maintaining their current government position, they continue to evaluate their future direction based on investigation outcomes and public sentiment.

"We need to see before we make any decision. As a party that comes from the people, we will listen to the people's views.

"We do not compromise with corruption. That is very clear," he said while pointing out the importance of waiting for the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's investigation results before making any decisions.

He said this after officiating the Sabah Dapsy and Sabah DAP Wanita Convention, here, Sunday.
