PENAMPANG: A 75-year-old woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident at the Jalan Golf Garden junction along Jalan Bundusan, Monday. 

The 4.45pm accident happened when a Nissan vehicle rear-ended a Perodua e-hailing car, causing it to keel over. 

The elderly woman was travelling with her 42-year-old son in the Perodua when the accident happened.

It is understood that she sat in the rear passenger seat while her son sat in the front passenger seat. 

The e-hailing driver said he had picked up the mother and son from Asia City and was enroute to their residential area when the collision happened. 

The impact of the crash also affected a Myvi driven by a woman who was travelling with her two children.
