Opponents showed more hunger
In the 66th minute, a mistake in midfield suddenly put our defence under pressure and from a cross, Sri Pahang FC’s skipper Kpah Sherman grabbed the opportunity and made no mistake to score with a simple tap in.
WHAT a huge disappointment! Sabah FC only managed to draw 1-1 with Sri Pahang FC in the 1st leg of the Malaysia Cup semi-finals played at the Likas Stadium last Saturday.

It was a discouraging result as we were expecting a victory. I am sure the fans were frustrated with the outcome as well.

We were in fact lucky not to have lost the match because Sri Pahang FC could have created an upset had they been more clinical in their finishing as their performance was far better than us on the night.

Sabah FC had a very good start by taking the lead as early as the 10th minute when Stuart Wilkin fired a low drive past Sri Pahang FC’s custodian.
