Woman commits suicide in Sandakan
The case has been classified as sudden death.
SANDAKAN: A 32-year-old woman was found dead by her husband in a shophouse in the town centre, here, at 9am on Thursday.  

Preliminary investigations suggest she committed suicide by hanging herself using a sarong.

The reason behind her actions is still under investigation.  

So far, police investigations have not found any elements of crime or foul play.

District Police Chief, ACP Abdul Fuad Abdul Malek, said the body was sent to the Forensic Unit of Duchess of Kent Hospital for a post-mortem, scheduled to be conducted at 9am today (Friday).
