Kota Kinabalu: Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Seri Christina Liew urged the relevant authorities to ensure there is no water supply disruption during the coming Chinese New Year festival.

She made the call early this week after a walkabout in the central business district (CBD) here to present festive goodies bags to shopkeepers and traders, and to wish them a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year.

“Members of the business community expressed their concern to me over the possibility of water supply cuts during the celebration,” she said, adding this would cause a great deal of inconvenience.

Irregular water supply was one of the complaints received by Liew when meeting the people in her constituency.
