Sabah, Federal Governments to strengthen ties for electricity supply improvements

TUARAN: The State Government will continue to work closely with the Federal Government in implementing various initiatives to improve electricity supply performance in the State, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

He said these initiatives include those outlined under the regulatory authority of the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS) in the Sabah Energy Roadmap and Master Plan 2040 (SE-Ramp 2040).

“Although regulatory authority over Sabah’s electricity supply has been handed over to the State Government, I hope that the cooperation between both parties remains strong, demonstrating unity and high commitment to providing the best facilities for the people,” he said during the Sabah Electricity Community Programme, Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 Open House at Dewan Seri Sulaman here on Sunday.
