Landslides damage two homes in Lahad Datu

LAHAD DATU: Continuous rain triggered landslides that damaged two houses in Kampung Buang Sayang, Segama, on Friday.

A Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesperson said they received a distress call at 8.47am and deployed a team to the scene.

Upon arrival, the team found that the rear sections of two houses had been damaged. However, no injuries were reported.

"The team conducted monitoring, installed barriers, and advised the homeowners to evacuate to the temporary evacuation centre (PPS) for safety and further action.
