KUDAT: Forces of Love – Educare (FOL-Educare), a group based in Kuala Lumpur, distributed school supplies to 1,857 pupils across 15 schools in the interior, including Tenom, Nabawan, and Banggi off Kudat.
Led by Goh Chong Meng, the initiative from Dec 18, 2024, to Jan 15, 2025, was a smart collaboration between FOL and the Sabah Education Department, aimed at supporting underprivileged students.
The selection of schools was carried out by the District Education Office (PPD), ensuring that each had at least 85pc students from underprivileged backgrounds.
The project cost amounted to RM334,260, with each student’s package costing around RM180.
