Kota Kinabalu: University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) consistently celebrates and emphasises the value of mutual respect for the diversity that exists in this country by embracing various cultural festivities.

UCSF Vice-Chancellor, Datuk Dr. Rafiq Idris, said the people of this nation had just welcomed the New Year 2025 last month and recently celebrated the Chinese New Year (CNY).

He said this is a unique and special aspect of Sabah’s multicultural society, where people of different ethnic backgrounds come together to celebrate and honour each other’s traditions.

“Understanding, unity, culture, and traditions inherited from our ancestors must be preserved by future generations for the sake of a peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous life,” he said during UCSF’s 2025 CNY Celebration at the campus lobby in Sembulan.
