KUNAK: Usno President Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia hopes the party will be given opportunity to contest in seats where they can provide competition and attract young voters.
“The party should not be underestimated by the larger parties in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah coalition.
“Although we are a small party, support for Usno can influence potential victories in contested seats,” he said.
“For example, if GRS Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor gives Usno candidates the opportunity to contest in Kunak during the State Election, there is no reason why this party (Usno) cannot win.
“We have the potential to attract support from opposition supporters from Warisan,” said Pandikar, who is also GRS Deputy President, here, last Sunday.
