BEAUFORT: The State Government distributed 3,500 food baskets to flood victims in Lumadan.
Lumadan Assemblyman Datuk Ruslan Muharam said residents in 50 villages within the Gadong Zone had been trapped for five days due to flooding that cut off the main road access.
The main route near Kampung Bentuka is submerged, preventing residents from travelling to town to purchase essential food supplies.
“In addition to the Gadong Zone, similar aid has been distributed to residents in 10 villages in the Weston Zone who are facing the same situation.
