BEAUFORT: The application for bazaar lots is now open exclusively for food and beverage vendors in conjunction with the coming Ramadan month, said Beaufort District Council Executive Officer, Mohd Ainol Mohd Dun.
Application forms for the Ramadan bazar lots are distributed free of charge, with a processing fee of RM20.
For the Membakut area, forms will be distributed at the MDB Membakut District Office, while forms for Beaufort, Gadong and Weston areas will be available at Dataran Bagandang, all on February 10, 2025.
The deadline for form submission is Feb 19 and 20. The rental price for a bazaar lot without electricity is RM60, while lots with electricity supply are priced at RM100 per lot.
“The voting date for lot allocation in Beaufort, Gadong and Weston is set on Feb 24 at Astaka Dataran Bagandang, while for Membakut, it will take place on Feb 25,” he said.
Applicants must bring their identification cards, as representatives are not allowed to collect the forms on their behalf.
Ainol also said three conditions must be met for approval.
“Applicants must possess a valid health card, received an anti-Typhoid vaccination and a valid food handling certificate,” he said.
