Kota Kinabalu: The three Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sabah leaders who doused water on the Keningau Oath Stone are advised to seek advice from native elders on how best to rectify the situation.

This follows some among the community blaming their actions for the severe flooding that hit the district, despite assertions to the contrary by them.

Deputy Chief Minister 1 Datuk Seri Dr Jeffery G. Kitingan said he is uncertain whether the flooding was connected to the leaders’ actions. He said he would not blame them as they were merely following advice of the event organiser.

“So if anything, it should be the organiser(s) who should answer for it,” he said.
