Kota Kinabalu: Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Sabin Samitah said DBKK is committed to strengthening relationship with the local community, in line with its vision of making Kota Kinabalu a progressive, dynamic and culturally-rich city.
“One of our initiatives is organising the 2025 Battle of the Bands competition, which marks its third edition this year, in conjunction with the 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary of Kota Kinabalu as a city.
“This is a highly anticipated event for music enthusiasts. At the same time, it also serves as a platform to discover new talents among local youths.
“Additionally, it plays a crucial role in promoting the local music industry, which is growing rapidly,” he said at the competition’s grand finale on Friday night.
