Kota Kinabalu: Muhd Hafiz Firdaus Affendy Tan and Faridah Abdullah emerged winners in the Sabah Champion of Champions 2025 lawn bowl tournament held at the Keningau Sports Complex over the weekend.

Firdaus took home the RM500 cash prize after winning the men’s title with a 2-1 victory after a tie break over Ismail Deran in the final.

Ismail has to settle for RM300 while in third place was Alvin Aling @Tony who received RM200.

The women’s event was played in round robin format and Faridah topped the table to grab the RM400 winning prize followed by Saralia Lazarus who received RM300 and Adilah Justin with the RM200 cash.

Sabah Lawn Bowl Association president Shuib Hashim, who presented the prizes, said the champions will represent the State at the National Champion of Champions tournament scheduled to be held in April at Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.
