SIPITANG: Sis families in various villages across the district received keys to their new government-provided homes on Wednesday.

The People’s Housing Project units, completed under Giat Mara’s supervision, were distributed to eligible recipients in Kampung Sungai Tiga, Kampung Babangkong, Kampung Tanjung Nipis, Kampung Kawang Tali Air and Kampung Kuala Mengalong.

“The new homes will improve the recipients’ quality of life, especially for those who previously lived in dilapidated houses,” said Sipitang Umno Division Chief Abd Rahman

Mat Nuh, who is also Sipitang Giat Mara Sipitang Chairman, during the key handover ceremony.

The housing initiative, approved by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who also serves as the Minister of Rural and Regional Development, aims to provide safe and comfortable housing for families in need. 

Recipients will no longer have to worry about shelter during adverse weather conditions, bringing positive change to their lives.
