“This AHSANS will be under JHEAINS and collaborate with the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis). “The strategy taken in implementing the academy includes touring all districts and divisions to find our children who we can guide. “We will choose a special place for the participants of this academy and for the time being we will establish it at the Sabah State Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute (ITQAS),” he said.

Arifin, who is also the Sabah Education and Religion Exco, said the potential children will be exposed to the development of recitation at the national and international levels.

“We will also allow them to go to Indonesia and several countries that can give them experience with the Quran teachers in the relevant places,” he said.

According to him, the culture of reading the Quran among young people must be developed because many of these groups have the potential to be polished to produce Quran figures.

“Today we witnessed the participants in the youth category of the Quran Recitation Ceremony, and I see that there is potential in our children, we will polish their talents and we will bring them into this academy.

“I am very proud of the achievements of our children and we will develop the culture of reading or the culture of reciting the Quran among young people. “When we develop it further, we give encouragement and guidance. I am confident that Sabah has the potential to emerge as a state that produces Quran figures like before,” he explained.
