Perikatan Nasional to field young candidates in Sabah
“We are not only looking at the capabilities of veteran politicians but will also include young leaders so that we can champion the future based on the aspirations they bring," said Hamzah.
SANDAKAN: Perikatan Nasional will be fielding young candidates in the coming 17th Sabah State Election.

“We are not only looking at the capabilities of veteran politicians but will also include young leaders so that we can champion the future based on the aspirations they bring.

“But what is important is that the framework we provide must be one that is accepted by all levels of society, all ethnicities, and all religions—not just in Sabah but across the entire country,” said Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

Hamzah, who is also Deputy President of Bersatu Malaysia, said that his party would not be announcing the number of seats they plan to contest at this time. However, he is confident that the candidates they field would be capable of leading Sabah towards a better future.
